The reason why I haven't shared my son's name yet is because it was a bit hard to decided the name :) But now alhamdolillah it's confirmed... My son's name will be "NOOH" after Prophet Nooh (Noah) alayhi assalaam :) Plz remember him in your intimate prayers :)
I am honoured to have been invited to perform at the Austrian Government's official celebration of 100 years since the recognition of Islam as an official religion in Austria..
This year, Austria celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the Legal Recognition of Islam by Law.
Austria was the first European country to recognize Islam by law 100 years ago. The legal recognition in 1912 resulted in an accredited and authorized religious community for all Muslim citizens in Austria. This fact has contributed that Austrian Muslims enjoy the same rights like other recognized religious communities in the country. This year sees the celebration of the 100th anniversary. Therefore, the Islamic Religious Community in Austria organizes two ceremonies in the Vienna:
1st ceremony: Vienna City Hall, on June 29, 2012 2nd ceremony: Islamic Centre, on June 30, 2012 (3:00 pm)
It is an honor for me that the Islamic Religious Community in Austria invited me to this important ceremony! Eminent personalities, like the President of Austria, ministers, officials etc from Austria and the whole of Europe are going to attend the ceremony.
Due to the great importance of the 100th anniversary for all Muslims in Austria and across Europe I will aslo be in Austria insha Allah to join in this important and joyous occasion.
